BarakAllahufik brother, here is the source.

Shaykh Hamza Yusuf closed todays class with a quote by Ibn al-Qāsim al-Ḥākim, that’s mentioned in al-Tibr al-masbūk which was partially written by Imām al-Ghazālī.

A translation of the Arabic reads,

“Fitna (strife) arises from three kinds of people: newscasters, news seekers, and news listeners. None of them is free of blame.”

So basically, the internet! Especially Facebook, and Twitter! May Allāh protect us. Amīn.

Wa fika Barakalah, and you :)

Cette parole n'est donc pas un hadith ? C'est une citation de Ibn al-Qāsim al-Ḥākim. (https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/5762468.Ibn_al_Qasim_al_Hakim)

Wa 'alaykum as-salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
.
For more information about this quote, we need the full lecture of Shaykh Hamza Yusuf or to read this book : al-Tibr al-masbūk which was partially written by Imām al-Ghazālī, inch'Allah.
